Hope everyone had a rad memorial day weekend. I was so glad to see so many tired but happy sunburnt people on the F train yesterday. Clearly memorial day is a day to memorialize the war heroes of the past but also to spend quality time with the family, friends, and maybe even a bottle of Mister Saucey???
Well that’s exactly what we did. Taking some notes from David Chang of Momofuku fame, we marinated some pork belly, pork chops, and chicken breasts in our latest concoction – Ultimate Spicy Garlic: Extreme!
If that sound crazy, well you just might be right Sauceyheads. We added almost double the normal number of chilis to our Ultimate Spicy Garlic: AND MAN DID IT TASTE GOOD!
What is it about Pork, that it just soaks up all the salty savory and peppery goodness??
We also tweaked up our Fresh Lemon sauce a bit and it added a nice refreshing note to our summer salad. Our friends Kat and Soni thought we should offer up cocktails made of the Fresh Lemon sauce and at first I was like “Naaah you’re craaazy”. But then I thought – its no crazier than having a bloody mary…am I riiight??
Anywho, thanks to everyone who came and showed some love and let us use your tastebuds as our guinea pigs. We’re glad you enjoyed our delectable variations.
