There are two types of people at the table -

  1. those who play it safe

  2. those who reach for the bottle with the word HOT in bold letters.

If you’re the second kind, this one’s for you.

Our Hot Habanero Ketchup was born from our Vietnamese roots and Brooklyn hustle,

in a tiny kitchen where the rules were simple: keep the flavor big, the ingredients clean, and the attitude spicy.

  • We blended our signature savory tomato-based fish sauce, a nod to nước chấm, the classic Vietnamese dipping sauce.

  • We also drew inspiration from “Ketjap,” an age-old Southeast Asian sauce made with pickled anchovies and spices.

  • Then we mixed both traditions with an American classic to create our own ketchup with a kick.

Imagine:

→ the tang of ripe tomatoes,

→ the fruit-forward punch of habanero,

→ that savory umami depth that keeps you coming back for one more dip.

Hot Habanero Meets Everyday Meals

This sauce shows up for everything. Try it with:

  • 🍤 Crispy Fried Shrimp – our fall favorite, golden and crunchy.

  • 🌭 Grilled Hot Dogs – give them a bold upgrade

  • 🍳 Breakfast Potatoes or Eggs – because mornings deserve a wake-up call.

  • 🍔 Burgers and Chicken Tenders – the lazy-day meal that suddenly tastes gourmet.

💡 Pro tip: Drizzle it, dip it, or mix it into mayo for a next-level spicy aioli.

Flavor That Lifts

Each spoonful brings the unmistakable heat of habaneros.

We balance the spice with sweetness, so your taste buds enjoy the thrill without needing a rescue drink.

And yes, it’s gluten-free, fat-free, oil-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and made with all-natural ingredients.

Good heat doesn’t need junk to stand out.

Real Food, Real Passion

Every Saucey Sauce bottle is crafted in small batches by flavor lovers.

When our co-founders first mixed the recipe in their Brooklyn kitchen, the vision was to make Asian easy, to make fresh faster and to make taste healthier.

Years later, the Hot Habanero Ketchup remains one of our most beloved sauces. It’s a reminder that comfort food can be bold, authentic, and wildly fun at the same time.

Here’s a one straight from our test kitchen.

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

  • 3 green plantains, peeled & sliced into 1-inch pieces

  • Salt, to taste

  • Hot Habanero Saucey Ketchup for dipping

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat.

  2. Place a few plantain slices in the oil and cook until lightly golden, about 3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  3. Flatten each plantain with a plate or the back of a spoon.

  4. Return the flattened slices to the skillet and fry them again until they are perfectly crispy and golden brown.

  5. Drain once more, sprinkle with salt, and serve immediately with your favorite Hot Habanero Ketchup on the side.

Pro Tip: Pair with a cold drink and your favorite playlist. These crispy bites disappear fast.

Flavor + Tradition + Playfulness.

That’s the Saucey Sauce way - born in Brooklyn, inspired by Vietnam, and made for every table daring for that extra heat.
