A Saucey Sauce twist to the Whisky Apple Mule. It's a flavorful twist on the classic Moscow Mule that is especially popular in the fall. 


Flavor profile/ Impression: a crisp, spicy, and refreshing blend of sweet apple with

hint of salty, zesty ginger (Sweet Ginger Sauce), and warm, caramel whiskey.


The specific flavors really vary based on your chosen ingredients and preparation

– so play with your sauces!


Ultimate Saucey Whisky Apple Mule

Ingredients:


Much friendlier, sweeter, non- alcoholic version

  • 4-6 oz Raw unfiltered Apple Juice or Apple Cider

  • 4-6 oz Ginger Beer

  • 1 tsp ( 0.17 oz) Spicy Garlic Sauce (for extra kick, add 1 tsp fresh grated ginger juice or milder flavor Sweet Ginger Sauce or Fresh Lemon Sauce )

  • 0.5 oz squeezed fresh lemon juice or more for a tangy flavor


Optional alcoholic version

  • 3 oz Apple / Irish Whiskey or Bourbon

  • For that true Fall / Winter pumpkin spice taste, add a dash of ground cinnamon or pie spice for a warm, aromatic finish!


Method:


  1. Before building a drink, chill your glass or mug in the freezer.

  2. Stir together all ingredients with ice cubes or crushed ice.

  3. Strain to remove ice or keep ice cubes.

  4. Garnish with mints, kumquat slices, or key lime slices or apple slices.
