Spicy Garlic & Honey Caramel Sticky Buns
Elevate your autumn dessert table with a bold, unexpected twist on a classic favorite.
Welcome to a delightfully unexpected flavor experience. These warm, pull-apart sticky buns feature a rich honey caramel glaze infused with the fiery chili-garlic kick of our signature Spicy Garlic Sauce, topped off with delicate white icing and toasted pecans.
Designed as an effortless shortcut recipe, we use refrigerated cinnamon roll dough so you can spend less time prepping and more time enjoying a luxurious, sweet-and-spicy caramel masterpiece!
Ingredients:

2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (with included icing)
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
½ cup packed light brown sugar
¼ cup honey
1 tbsp Spicy Garlic Sauce
½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Method:
Prep the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. If using nuts, sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly across the bottom of the pan.
Make the Spicy Caramel: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, brown sugar, honey, and Spicy Garlic Sauce together. Whisk constantly for 1 to 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes a bubbling caramel sauce.
Pour the Base: Pour the warm spicy caramel sauce directly over the nuts in the bottom of your baking pan, spreading it evenly.
Arrange the Buns: Open the cans of cinnamon rolls (set the icing containers aside for later). Place the individual dough rounds face-down on top of the caramel layer, spacing them evenly.
Bake: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the tops of the rolls are deeply golden brown and the dough is fully cooked through in the center.
The Flip (The Most Important Step): Let the pan cool for exactly 3 minutes (no longer, or the caramel will stick to the pan). Place a large serving platter or a foil-lined baking sheet upside-down over the top of the pan. Carefully and quickly flip the pan over so the sticky buns land on the platter. Let the hot caramel drip down over the buns for a few seconds before removing the pan.
Finish: Drizzle the reserved white icing over the warm caramel-coated buns right before serving!
