Serves 6


Ingredients:

Savory 10-min Couscous with Cheese

  • 1 1/4 cups chicken, beef, or vegetable stock or water.

  • 1 cup quick-cooking/ instant couscous

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon Spicy Garlic Nước Chấm Sauce (For extra kick with hint of sweetness, add 1 tsp of Hot Habanero Ketchup)

  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan or sharp cheddar cheese (can be omitted for a standard side)


Method:


  1. In a medium saucepan with a tight-fitting lid, bring the stock or water to a boil.

  2. Once boiling, remove from the heat and add the couscous, butter, Spicy Garlic Sauce, and cheese.

  3. Stir briefly to combine.

  4. Cover and let sit for about 5 minutes.

  5. Fluff with a fork and serve.

  6. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
