Inspired by Andrew Zimmern (Andrew Zimmern Cooks), here’s our favorite Vietnamese pork burger recipe – it’s super quick, easy & ridiculously flavorful by using Spicy Garlic and Sweet Ginger Sauce. It’s the perfect burger recipe for flavor junkies looking to switch things up.
Serves 4
Ingredients:

1 ½ lb ground pork
3 T cilantro, minced
1 kaffir lime leaf, julienned
¼ C breadcrumbs
4 soft buns
Leaf Lettuce
4 sprigs each of cilantro and mint for garnish
Pickled Carrots & Daikon
1 C carrot, shaved into long strips
1 C daikon radish, grated
Method:
In a medium bowl, combine carrot, daikon radish, and Sweet Ginger Sauce.
Stir, cover, and put in the fridge until ready to use.
In a mixing bowl, combine pork, Sweet Ginger Sauce and Spicy Garlic Sauce, cilantro, and kaffir lime. Form into 4 patties.
Butter the buns and toast lightly on the grill, or in a sauté pan.
Grill the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
